SEASON COMPETITION Schedule

2026-2027 Season Competition Schedule 

(Boys & Girls) 

PLEASE NOTE THAT UNLIKE OTHER SPORTS, OUR SCHEDULE IS NOT SET IN STONE. 

Our schedule WILL CHANGE throughout the season as it depends heavily on funding that we ourselves raise. As events change, Coaches or myself will update and let everyone know as soon as possible. 

For your awareness, the Laney school administration only pays for bus/gas costs to travel to and from CONFERENCE matches. Our conference consists of Ashley, N Hanover, Hoggard, Topsail, and 3 Brunswick schools (South, West, and North). The school does allow us to participate in non-conference events with the understanding that funds will be pulled from our Laney Wrestling account. Simply put, if we don't have the money in our account, we will have to cut events from our schedule. Conversely, if Coaches see an opportunity to GAIN more mat time, they may ADD events to this schedule. Again, changes will be communicated to everyone as soon as possible.

Some additional things to note: 

• Our season schedule is combined to include Girls and Boys events

• JV/Alternate events are also noted (where applicable)

• Times - Yes, there are a LOT of "To Be Determined" (TBD). Once times are confirmed, we will update but we wanted to go ahead and get this out

• Seniors - Senior Night will be the last HOME dual Jan 27th

• Travel - We are road warriors this season with only 3 home duals plus we have the honor of hosting the Carolina Coast Conference Tournament. For everything else, we will be hitting the pavement. BRACE YOURSELVES FOR FUNDRAISING!
